Alex Lockett is a British-born, New York-based director and photographer who grew up between the north of England and Arizona. Working across fashion, music and documentary, his work creates vivid worlds that are nostalgic, emotionally sensitive and playfully surreal. Moving fluidly between documentary and constructed worlds, Alex is drawn to moments where the lines of reality blur, bringing a human-centered, cinematic approach to both commercial and narrative storytelling. Close collaborators include Jack Antonoff, Margaret Qualley, Finneas and horsegiirl. Commercial and editorial clients include Zara, Nordstrom, J.Crew, American Vogue, W Magazine and Frieze. His music video for Bleachers' "Tiny Moves" received three VMA nominations, including Best Direction.
